Agence Algérienne pour le Rayonnement Culturel

As part of its cultural presence in the Arab world, Algeria is participating in the 40th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair, running from April 23 to May 3, 2026, with a pavilion showcasing the richness and diversity of Algerian intellectual production.

The Algerian pavilion spans 60 square meters and hosts 39 public and private publishing houses. It features 625 titles (totaling 3,188 copies) across various fields including literature, history, and philosophy. Additionally, 92 titles were presented as a donation to the Algerian Embassy in Tunisia.

The pavilion was honored by a visit from the Tunisian President, Mr. Kaïs Saïed, who reviewed several publications and explored works by prominent Algerian cultural and historical figures. The visit also touched upon artistic and historical milestones connecting the two nations.

The occasion served to reaffirm the deep-rooted relations between the two countries and concluded with the presentation of a symbolic gift reflecting the strong cultural bonds between the two peoples. Throughout the fair, the Algerian pavilion will host a diverse cultural program, including intellectual seminars and literary and poetry evenings.
