The Director General of the Algerian Agency for Cultural Outreach (AARC) received the young Algerian poet Hocine MEMMADI second-place winner of the second edition of the Al-Mutanabbi Literary Award in Cairo. This achievement comes as a result of his participation in the competition with the support of the AARC, where he secured second place in the classical poetry category for his poem “Orphan of the First Smile”, standing out among 275 participants from 17 Arab countries.
